Why is my Vanguard. Money Market Fund not making any money

    Thanks, was looking at the RL fund, but not available on vanguard platform,  And to late in the tax year to swop to another platform ie HL .
    so as a early Diy investor trying to gain knowledge from the very informed folk here.
    A thankyou is payment enough .

    HL would skin you alive for costs if you held a substantial sum in that fund with them. iWeb is much cheaper.
  • Hi, I just read this and it put me at ease. I thought the money (dividend) would be reinvested immediately - in other words I assumed the fund is managed and automated. After I 'lost my gains' I thought I'd have to monthly sell at the of each month and then reinvest/buy again at the beginning of the month (i.e. buy low, sell high as per blue line trend). But it seems it is indeed managed and the profit (dividend) is just 1 month delayed...
