Good morning - back soon

Morning again, it's a miserable looking morning here, daylight but damp and feels coldish. Yesterday was similar.

Going out this morning to deliver some shopping to two old ladies we know who can't get out much, they are old friends so we'll stay for a chat with them.

When we get home I've got a few jobs to do, then it'll be the quiz tonight. That's the plan anyway.

Thoughts to our poorly and sad people, take care folks.

Wet and miserable here too with a stiff breeze, hoping the children can get out to play as they get a little boisterous when kept inside! The behaviour from some children yesterday was absolutely awful, today can only be better.

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET.  Another dullish start but still mild. I took recycling out yesterday and it felt warmer outside than in! I couldn't believe it. 

I had a long phone chat with BFF yesterday and she sounds to be so accepting of the prognosis and was able to talk about it all. The only sign something was amiss was when she kept forgetting names/words but she just laughed it off. She said she is unsteady on her feet but was still hopeful of meeting our other DF and I for our Tuesday lunch meets but I'm a bit doubtful about that. But never say never where she is concerned. Meanwhile DF and I are meeting today so we will see what happens. We are finding it quieter week by week so it looks as though folk are cutting back as the prices seem to be going up every week.

I might manage a few little jobs before I go out if I put my mind to it!  Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA.  NELS grr to the taxi company that let you down. Take care all and be safe xx

Good morning folks. 

Raining. Again. Even though spring is officially here.  

My cleaner was due today but she's now coming on Thursday instead. I don't mind too much as she's juggling two or three jobs to keep her family going, besides I have nothing much planned. 

TA. - your BFF sounds so strong, she obviously appreciates her friends. I hope that she can join you again soon. 

Scarlet - enjoy your chats, you're so kind. 

Camelot - bad behaviour in schools is a constant struggle, I hope that things are better today. 

Nelski - is your meter cupboard fixed yet?
Bella - that year since your holiday has just whizzed by.

Morning everyone off to work in a minute back in at lunchtime for my soup then straight to WW after work . It’s dry outside at the minute but I think it has to be showers all week . I need to print a label off for a parcel of course my printer won’t work this morning it will have to wait until tonight I haven’t got time to mess on this morning why is nothing ever simple. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Drizzly here for now but meant to brighten up later, three people coming today and they want to go for a walk in a local park and feed the squirrels, if it turns out nice we can have lunch on the seafront and then a wander round the shops and get a cup of tea, funny enough it’s the chap coming today that likes shopping the ladies are not fussed.

Ive had a tidy through this morning and will run the hoover over before they come, I’ve also got some chaps coming to clean the gutters out today as there is a bird that comes to the gutter to eat the bugs every morning but he starts about 5.30 and the tapping is driving me mad ! I’m hoping that by cleaning then it will stop him coming.

Gnocchi for dinner tonight with a tomato and mascarpone sauce with garlic bread and salad, nice quick meal, dd will make the sauce this afternoon.

TA how sad to hear of your friends deterioration my thoughts are with her and you all xx

I still have this pesky sore throat (10 days now) so I'll do an e-consult with the GP today. I'll be making a chilli con carne in the SC. DH will be back around 7 so can eat when he gets home.

One of my oldest friends is coming to see me today. We started our nurse training back in the mid sixties and have always kept on touch.  She is going to bring sandwiches for lunch as I am not up to going out.
will be lovely to have some company.
