Cleaning textured vinyl flooring

help!
we have a very nice looking kitchen floor which is the devil to clean.
we have a steam mop, but the texture on the flooring just pulls of cloth off the Velcro. It’s not the cleaner, as it’s fine on a smooth floor. We have tied on the c,oath with lactic band but it still comes off
We have resorted to scrubbing on hands and knees, with a mixture of Stardrops and bleach to do it.
Its such a pain we are considering replacing it, only been down nine months.
I have read all sorts of cleaning methods, ie bicarbonate etc
Any ideas?

Would a good old-fashioned mop and bucket not do the trick? In terms of the actual cleaning solution, personally I just use hot water with a splash of bleach and a splash of liquid floor cleaner (Flash, for instance, although I use Aldi/Lidl own-brand equivalent).1

Oh I had similar and hands, knees and bucket was the only way.The steam cleaner worked despite being told nooooo never it didn't damage the floor.I found that it was a great stress reliever to hand do it and at the end I had a clean floor which cheered me up.One thing I did do was put an old sheet down if I was coming in from the garden or walks. Darn sight easier to bung that in the washing machine than do the floor
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
viral kindness .....kindness is contageous pass it on
The only normal people you know are the ones you don’t know very well

I was going to suggest a steam cleaner, I used one on our grout and it worked a treat, almost like a mini pressure washer in the house.
I'd be wary of using it near any joins or near the edges incase it put water under it.
