Be aware - Creation Credit Card charges 2.99% conversion fee.
Pretty sure when I took this card out in 2016 it didn't.
Seems the tool on this page moneysavingexpert credit-cards/travel-credit-cards is outdated.

So, could you provide some details, please? Do you have a Creation statement which specifically lists a separate "conversion fee" (exactly these words)? Or is the amount just more than you expected? What currency is involved? Was it a payment or a cash withdrawal? Are you sure you paid in the local currency (do you have a printed receipt), or did you mistakenly allow conversion of the amount to GBP (called dynamic currency conversion, or DCC)? And so on.
Of course, I'm not suggesting you are deliberately trying to mislead us, but it's very easy to be misled yourself. No credit card provider can guarantee there will be no fees charged by others - only that they themselves will not charge any. We cannot know anything except what you tell us, so I'm asking for detail about this transaction in the hope of being able to see what's happened. Please be exact in what you describe.0 -
There were two Creation Cards though, one was 0 Forex and the other wasn’t. If you have evidence of 0 forex in the past, ask them specifically why you were charged and if they allude to change in T&C clarify when such a notice was issued to you.0

as a side note, you could apply for a Chase current account that is forex fee free and also give you 1% cashback (up to £15 c/b per month) on your debit card spend. There are also other CC (Halifax Clarity, Barclaycard Rewards etc) that are also Forex Fee Free.0 -
The IHG branded Creation card charges a 2.99% conversion fee, always has.

Thanks for the comments. Will sort out a new card.
Just for reference, when I took the card out, it was fee free.
Took it out after referring to this website back in 20160 -

If you're sure, have you tried enquiring with Creation as to what has gone on here?as I also said in my original response, if you are 100% sure to have the “Everyday” card and not another version with the same look, I would enquire it.However, there is a post from 2016 that suggested that on the statement for this card, each transaction was indeed reported to include “conversion fee of 2.99%” but in the same statement they would then add a line like:
Foreign Fee saving: -£x.xx
