Morning all

Pouring with rain here again 😩 and set in for the day, I have an unexpected day off today which is nice so dd and I will take the dogs out for a soggy walk, they really don’t care if it’s wet they still like to go out.

Chicken fried rice for dinner tonight with some dim sum which I have left over from Xmas I will need to get some rice though as I’ve just seen we are almost out.

I got some lovely flowers from dd yesterday and a lemon cheesecake and cream which she bought in M&S she knows her mother well 😀

Mum was feeling a bit better yesterday I will get her to do another test today, if she is still positive she will have to cancel her cleaner for tomorrow.

Hello all, after a dry and sunny day yesterday we're back to overcast and drizzly. I had lots of presents and a card from DD yesterday, in fact I've been using my new "Mum" mug this morning ( I broke my favourite mug around xmas time) Sadly DD had to go home to do a pile of marking so her day wasn't one of much rest. Dad went home happy with a bag full of cooked lunches, lo sandwiches and some bananas 😂
Today is going to be a quiet one with only the dw needing to be emptied, I was too lazy to empty it last night. There is enough lo roast dinner from yesterday except roasties, so we'll have that with a few oven chips for today.

Good morning again, I started off, now I'm late coming back.

It's grey and damp here, sadly it's forecast to be like that all week.

Everyone seems to have had a good day yesterday, I did as well, with cards and presents, very nice.

Dh has gone over to the caravan with a few things that we'll leave in for the summer, and I'm going to nip out for a little bit of shopping that a friend has asked me to get, we'll deliver it tomorrow morning.

Glad your Mum seems to be a bit better Ruby.

Morning 

Very grizzly this morning. Sat here still waiting on a taxi I had booked for an hour ago ago to go to the docs. It didn't turn up. Very cross as I got up at daft o'clock for a shower.  Missed my appointment so re booked for next week now not a great start to the week. I hate relying on taxis but it is what it is. Time for a shake down and back to my happy smiley self lol!

Had a lovely day with mum yesterday. The home had laid on an afternoon tea with tones of food. we had a good chat and far too much cake so all was good. 

After losing a lot of today already Im tempted to go back to bed but I won't. Washing to do and some general tidying.

Afternoon, just, all. Been potting up new plants in garden and general tidying  up out there, love to be outside. 

OH gone to our allotment to work up there, so we’re all set for veg, fruit and flowers down here. Off to London for the day tomorrow to a theatrical costumiers  for a tour.
