Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet.
After quite a nice day (well, up to about 4.30) it's back to rain again this morning. Washing was all dried outside and the house had a good airing.
Lovely lunch yesterday, forgot how much I enjoy a roast every now and again. My friend came over on the bus, she didn't really know where to get off and the bus driver didn't have a clue so I had to track the bus and go out to get her. The bus stop is only about 50m from the house so not a problem.
Car goes for an MOT and service today, not looking forward to the bill!
Back at work today, the HT is off so hopefully it will be radio silence for the day. Swim later, the big challenge starts on Wednesday.
Hope you are all well and have a good day. Take care. XX13 -
Good morning - thanks for starting us off Scarlet.Yesterday was dry, it made such a lovely change. I had my front door open for a good part of the day. I'm not anticipating the same for today.Monday brings me to updating spreadsheets, now I have to start making new ones for the next financial year so a lot of fiddling about to do. It's almost exciting!I hope that everyone is doing fine. Happy Monday to all.12

Morning folks. After a succession of nice fine days we have mizzle this morning but it still feels mild and the heating is only on for a quick blast!
I had a lovely day at DD's yesterday with the china tea-set out and a delicious afternoon tea which we all enjoyed. Too many goodies alas and I couldn't stop being greedy picking at everything.
I have a no cooking day today as well. DS called in the morning with wine and flowers and a lasagne he had made so that will do nicely for my tea today.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for the poorlies, getting better or MIA. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -

Morning all and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons x
I had a quiet day yesterday - had too much cake on Saturday when visiting the Mum's and as I don't usually eat sugar it really affected me! DH ordered take out last night but I couldn't face it. He is in Birmingham for 2 days now, so I'm WFH with pup today and on my own tomorrow. Food will be egg and SW chips tonight - because I can!
Hope all the mums and those who mother had a lovely day yesterday.
I did lots of washing at the weekend so will do the ironing this evening because I know how to enjoy myself! Hoping to do a little sewing too if I can motivate myself to get it all out.
Have a good day everyone

Morning everyone
Drizzly here....we're meant to have a wet week, hopefully it's wrong...children tend to get very loud if they're inside all day!
Went down to DDs yesterday for a Chinese - it was very nice - then a couple of games of Snakes and Ladders and Snap with little one.
A few jobs to do this morning, then down to work at lunchtime. I seem to have hurt my right foot somehow - no idea how...it has a big purple bruise on the bottom and is a little swollen on the side. I'll try to stay off my feet as much as I can this morning.
Hope everyone has a good day today x12 -
Morning all- wet again today though it managed to stay dry for DGD match yesterday, which was early K.O so people could enjoy Mothers day. Once we got back we had a lazy day and I finished my library book so they can be returned tomorrow or Wed.We had roast beef & all the trimmings. The beef was silverside from al di, cooked in the oven alongside the roasties and yorkshire puds & it was the best we had in a while. Apple & cream sponge for after, a ys from marks.Currently got my eye on a squirrel preparing to make a big leap from the bird table to the fence, there it goes...Ly1a spotted it yesterday, her hackles were up & barking like mad but she's asleep under the table atm. Now it's back again and the woodpigeon can't get a look in & is strutting along underneath. I only bought new food on Friday- it'll all be gone at this rate! Not sure what to have for tea yet, and I need to finish off my T order. I stretched food out last week and didn't have a delivery so a bit of a saving there.Hope you all have a good day x

Morning..Friend liked the board so that was a relief..This morning I have plans to go to Boots [ the only people who have stock of my contact lens stuff] and the what-used-to-be local garden center. It's family run and there's no coffee shop or anything like that and it's not stupid pricey. I will have a good old wander. I've linked up my new two waterbutts so they are ready for the next downpour, might even be today looking at the sky..As you can tell, warmer weather = more time in the garden. Now if I could only find the two panes of glass OH removed from my greenhouse to mirror up, I'd be happier. And drier.Coxy, you've put the egg and chips idea in my head now, OH doesn't do eggs unless they're mixed together and he's on lates so I can eat what I like. Are you sure you want to be ironing? And if you need company, we're always here...
camelot, glad you had a nice meal, and you made me laugh imagining you stalking buses..Gers, wish I could be that excited about spreadsheets, I mean, I like them, but obviously not as much as you like them
TA, your tea sounds lovely, what a nice treat. Izzy, good luck tonight ! Rosy, your squirrel sounds like a candidate for Mission Impossible music
Take care all, including the no so one hundred percent, look forward to the longer nights...
