I used to live in a house with reinforced concrete lintels which were a nightmare to drill.

A good SDS drill and tungsten tip drills should do the job, this combination has never failed me yet.

    Take a look on https://www.screwfix.com

My walls are all solid concrete. When I moved in, my brand new hammer drill wouldn't touch them. I bought an SDS drill and this goes through them like butter. I have a small home office, and the wall from this to the living room is 12 inches of solid concrete. When I set up the wiring to network every room, I needed a hole 1 inch wide through 12 inches of concrete. The SDS drill did this in seconds.

If you only need a couple of holes. Why not consider hiring an SDS drill out?

    There's a joke there but i won't go into it :D

The quick answer is that a Tungsten tip drill is the most widely used so freely available and cheap. You can get Tungsten tip SDS drills at any of your local DIY sheds for a few pounds.

Diamond tip drills, at least those that are any good are rare and incredibly expensive, 10 times or more the cost of Tungsten.

Incidentally diamond forms naturally in nature, Tungsten is man, sorry person ;) made. Diamond is harder and more brittle than Tungsten.

I won't go into the fact that diamond can now also be manufactured it will only confuse things

In short a Tungsten tip SDS drill will do the job.

BUT you will need a drill that takes SDS drill bits, again look in your local DIY store or even Argos

In fact to save you some time take a look here at what they look like.
