30 hours free childcare question:

39 Posts

Hi,
I am due to receive an increase in pay which I hope will mean I will earn enough for 30 hours free childcare
I understand that I need to earn £1976 over the next 3 months.
My net pay would be £2011.
But I pay into the local government pension scheme and this is deducted from my wage each month.
So my take home pay over the next 3 months would be around £1749 without this contribution.
Would I qualify based upon this?

Over the next 3 months you and your partner (if you have one) must each expect to earn at least:
But as it's based on 16 hours @ NMW it will be £2167 after April rises.
