Hotter Shoes - Not issuing refunds

 I returned shoes on 17th Feb that I had purchased on line. They say they deal with returns swiftly!
I am still awaiting my refund (over £200) and when I phoned them on Saturday they could give me no indication of when I may get it even though they acknowledge I have returned the shoes. The advisor was unable to give a clear idea of why there is a delay... just said it is a glitch!

I notice on social media & Trustpilot that this is happening to several people. Has anyone any insider info? is the company going broke or is there some computer malfunction? They are still avidly promoting their products but I certainly won't be using them again

i have bought Hotter shoes for years and never had a problem getting a refund.

But, I have not ordered/returned anything recently. the las twas 3/01/23 when I returned boots and ordered a different size.

I’ve ordered 3 pairs of shoes recently on different occasions.  They all arrived fairly quickly.  I hope it’s just a glitch as I really like their shoes.  I have wide feet and a lot of companies don’t do wide shoes.

A month is more than enough to have waited for a refund, assuming you paid with a card when you ordered online contact your card issuer to ask them to process a chargeback.

It is disappointing that Hotter have acted this poorly, I've been buying shoes from them for some years (despite their ever-diminishing range of mens shoes) and I've always found them very good to deal with.
