Try looking at Ambassador Cruises. They are competitively priced and seem good value for money. Bear in mind that they are not a premium upmarket cruise line, just aiming for the average clientele but by all accounts, friendly and helpful staff.0

Giraffe76 said:Hi all,Its my wifes 60th in january 2025 and im trying to plan ahead to book a cruise for us but the problem i have is that my income has been reduced recently and i dont know if i will be able to afford the prices as i looked just on the p&o website as some point of reference for prices and they want more than i think i could save up between now and then unless they do a monthly payments schemeI was looking to go further afield than just europe especially as its a big birthday so If anybody could advice me or help in anyway then id be most grateful.Kind regards Mark
90 days before the cruise is when discount become available as this is the date when early bookers have to pay the balance. If they do no then the cabin becomes avaiable
I used
https://www.vacationstogo.com on my one and only cruise (Alaska)
Their 90 day ticker shows what prices are available so even if you do not use them you can possibly guage how much to save if you wait to the last minute.
I have never used these
https://www.seascanner.co.uk/
But you get the idea.

Relatives by marriage did a luxury cruise of several weeks to miss the worst of the Winter.
First there was the storm for five days as they left the UK, there was even a mini storm in the swimming pool, everyone was seasick.
A few pleasant stops on their voyage, then they had the tummy bug virus going round, and a stay in port for a deep clean.
Next they had a group where the behaviour of the young people became so bad they had to be put ashore.
All was going well, then they were crowded together on fewer tables in the dining room, with fewer staff available, and then the Covid spread to the passengers.
They crawled home still poorly after their holiday of a lifetime.
It does sound as if the cruise staff did their best.
