Skyguard EDPM roofing kit - needs try timber?

I've got a Skyguard kit to replace the bust felt on my shed roof.
Does it need to be applied to fully dry roof board, or can the board be a bit damp still? Can't see any guidance on the glue stuff they provide.
EDIT: I've found this on another site "Before applying anything from the kit, you must let the wood of your roof dry as fully as possible. You can then use the adhesive that comes in the pack."
So I guess I need to wait until summer.
