Navara vans are / were a tax loophole. I knew an independent financial advisor who drove one because he got tax breaks for having a company van (loophole long closed now I think) so you had at one point a load of white collar professionals technically driving vans around.I doubt anyone will pull you up over it (especially if it has no business logos on the side) as there are many domestic reasons for having one such as you own a horse, enjoy camping and its handy for that. Wife's BIL has one (though he's in Oz).If you're not loading it full of tools then I don't think people are going to be too bothered about the covenant.May you find your sister soon Helli.

Surely, the very worst possibility is that the op has to buy a different vehicle? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

I suspect the biggest issue will be parking. If you can park on your own driveway then I suspect most of your neighbours will not be bothered, but if on street parking is limited and you plan on parking on the street then someone may start looking at covenants more closely."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein1
