Stateofart said:I was directed to my pick of the online courses and I chose the cheapest one. Easy peasy. Course wasn't that bad either.Could depend upon the constabulary, i did the same booked course for nearest date 3 months away, 1 week before it was cancelled told to book another. Next nearest date was around 2 months later, again 1 week prior told cancelled. what that means is only have a month to do it, no way out or accept points had to get a cheap camera and do it online, never used since. My broadband was stable but lost connection in that online video. Panic, back up in about 8 mins, they have to let you back in.

Relax, you can do it.
Good luck.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0 -
All done! Instructor was very good and put me at ease. Didn’t really learn too much but I am going to start using my speed limiter or cruise control in future. Someone was asked to stop eating their dinner and someone else was told off for constantly clicking their biro pen.I would still have preferred a classroom based course. Thanks for your good wishes everyone.5

Its like being back at school when you go in everyone heads for the tables at the back and always somebody asking to many questions and trying to be a smart alec1 -

I went on one a month ago and learnt a couple of things. And the coffee was nice too.1

I did a classroom one many years ago.
I was London and visited North Wales, I got done entering and leaving, so 3 points and a course.
I had to go to the course back to North Wales so took the train.
Had a laugh during it, especially when a woman kept claiming "I never speed"
One thing I did learn, avoid North Wales.
Let's Be Careful Out There1 -
