I just wanted to say a very big thank you to all the folks who give their time and expertise on here.
I'm an avid reader on a few boards, and reading this one has meant that I could help my friend Jules a few months ago when she started having trouble with her landlady. I just regurgitated a few points that I'm forever reading on here (don't stop paying your rent, contact Shelter, etc) but when she was completely stuck and landlady was being unreasonable (and completely out of line, actually) I was able to reassure her and stop her panicking. The situation got resolved yesterday, purely down to the advice and expertise you guys give.
So a great big thank you. The ripple effects are sometimes more far-reaching than can be seen
