Hi everyone,
Birthday today, how can I be in my mid-sixties, the body feels it but the mind doesn't. We're off to the Theatre tonight to see Allegiance, the last time we went to the theatre we received the gift of covid so I hope that doesn't happen tonight. We're having a family lunch in Cambridge tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that.
Steve has broken a tooth so is off having an emergency dental appointment.
I went over to give Crystal a hand yesterday and had a lovely time with Nate.
Esben is going to swimming lessons this morning but seems very fragile this morning so I hope he gets on ok, everything is cause for a burst of tears.
Have a good day.12 -

Morning all. Drizzly here, just slipped into the world of greenhouse louvre windows..they're quite pricey aren't they? Chopping board is done [pic below - pretend the coner is in focus - still haven't got a new camera for my phone - so am happy with second ever go at burning stuff, OH gave it a thumbs up, hopefully my friend will too, otherwise I'll have to smack her over the head with the breadboard.....just kidding, I won't...but I'll want to....
Today off to the pharmcist in a bit, the ever present blanket of doom, maybe a spot of gardening, I should go and get some compost to start the sowing off this weekend. My own compost is merrily boiling away, one of them is still at 50 degrees. I love my hotbins, I go and look at the temperature of them every.single.day. Sad but true.
snoozer, Happy Birthday!! Hope it's a good one and your gifts exclude various virii! Scarlet, start writing down the names on a list...TA, wow, you do have freezer immediate stock up covered..but then, yes, you do live in an inhospitable part of the world in winter..Coxy, same re the sore throat, just hurts on side but no other symptoms.. bella, I think that was indeed nannys objective..
Take care all, be safe [ I'm looking at you missy nanny] wrap up and enjoy the day...

Morning
Lovely day here and definitely warmer. Happy St Patricks day. Had many a wild one in my past but today will be significantly quieter!
Remember I had problems with a meter box last year. The door had swung off in the storms so it was blowing open and it took forever finding someone who would come and sort it. Well yesterday I went to take some meter readings and the lock popped out so Im back to square one. Called the company who had done it last time so they're coming back this afternoon. Hopefully FOC.
Food wise I'm thinking something and mash. Need to cut my portions back though last night I had a usual size plate of steak pie chips and beans very nice but could only manage about a third. My appetite has gone down so much now...must be the effect of hospital food! Not to be recommended
Not much plans wise today just a weak attempt at house stuff possibly some washing and maybe a DW sort
Happy birthday snoozer enjoy being spoilt
Have a good day all

Happy Birthday Snoozer - I wish you a wonderful day and a peaceful year.Taff - the scorching is lovely, great work! Did you do it freehand or over a stencil, it's has so fine lines? My chap up the hill sells bread / chopping boards from his own wood and another neighbour burns into them. His are great big lumps of wood, he doesn't do such dainty ones.Had a long chat with my SIL, always a good start to the weekend. They are 'suffering' in the heat there, I wasn't too sympathetic to the complaint.11

Morning all, it's a damp day here. I didn't do much work yesterday so today I must do some cleaning, the bathroom for a start and then run the cleaner over the upstairs, then that'll do for today ! I want to make a large pot of meatballs in Italian sauce and we'll have that with pasta for tea, the rest will be shoehorned into the freezer as like TA I got twitchy and filled them up. Mr Fix It has made another appointment at the surgery and for once he spoke to someone who knew about his injections and there was no argy-bargy.
Bella rumbled ! Oh I do like a man in uniform
Scarlet that's ok they aren't going anywhere 😂
Coxy That made me giggle. Thanks Jeremy but no thanks, we're just too busy 😂.
Snoozer Happy Birthday 🎂🥂 Have a lovely day. Hope Esben is ok too.
Carolbee good job with the decorating, now take a long break before the next room.
Poppy hope your appointment goes well.
Back in a bit hopefully, Dad's just arrived
