Is the Halifax Switch incentive available to an existing Halifax Clarity Credit Card user.

Hi, Has anyone managed to bag the £175 switch incentive whilst being an existing Halifax Clarity CC customer? The Swap your bank account to us option (with the Credit Card online banking) doesn't work, it just hangs. Live Chat told me to use the Open a current account option. I've taken that as far as the screen to applying for the Current Account and asssociated Credit Check but as there was no mention of the Swirch Bonus I decided not to go further. Phone lines are busy whenever I ring, so I thought I'd see if anyone on this forum has been down this road? Thanks in anticipation. G.

Having a Halifax credit card is not relevant - any conditions will relate to existing current accounts.
You need to open a new Halifax Reward Account (nothing to do with C Cards) and, after that, you can switch another current account (not at Halifax) to it.
Read the terms and instructions here: https://www.halifax.co.uk/bankaccounts/switch-to-halifax.html1 -
I have Halifax clarity card, opened a current account and done the switch.
Not got the reward yet but it's in the pipeline0 -
Nowhere does it say that you have to apply through some link or in some special way. You don't even have to apply if you already have an account, in which case you only have to switch to qualify.Chapmag99 said:I've taken that as far as the screen to applying for the Current Account and asssociated Credit Check but as there was no mention of the Swirch Bonus I decided not to go further.

You need to score down to where it asks you do you want to switchgrumbler said:
