TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “KISS FM x KFC – FULL PROMO 1 – 15 – 24TH MARCH 23” (the “Competition”).

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside  our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

 

 

 

1.Entry ROUTES and Costs	Entries are restricted to one entry per person.   Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:   (A)    Online at: https://planetradio.co.uk/kiss/competitions/   Online entry  is free of charge.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	How to Enter & Shortlisting Mechanic:   Enter the competition via the online entry route Answer the multiple-choice question “How much is the Twister Wrap of the Day on Monday’s” All correct entries will be pooled and entrants will be selected by electronic random draw at 11am every day from Monday 20th March to Friday 24th March A member of the Bauer Production team will call the entrant to confirm interest and availability to play the game on-air during the competition week If the shortlisted entrant is contacted but does not respond to the initial call, or is not available for the pre-recorded call (dates and times are at the disclosure of the Production team), the KISS Production team has the right to select a different entrant from the pool of valid entries. Being called during the entry period does not mean that the entrant has won, and they will only win once being told they are the winner by the Presenter on-air   On-Air Competition Mechanic:   Every day from Monday 20th March to Friday 24th March, the Drive-Time Presenter will be hosting a game between 4pm and 7pm. A pre-recorded call will be set up between the chosen player and the Drive-Time Presenter (specific timings of this call will be arranged by the KISS Production team) There will be 4 virtual “envelopes” which have been randomly allocated a prize ahead of the game starting. Other than the “Jackpot Prize” which will be allocated to an envelope each day during the competition week, the other 3 envelopes will be randomly allocated a prize from prize categories 1, 2 and 3 as detailed in the Prize section (1 prize taken from each category, which will change each day). The prize category detailed below does not correlate to the randomly allocated envelope number given on the day of the competition. The presenter will explain the mechanic of the game on air to the player, re-iterating the Jackpot prize, but concealing the exact prizes that are within the remaining envelopes The player will come to air and pick a number between 1 – 4 The presenter will reveal which prize is within the chosen envelope number The player will be given one (1) opportunity to either stick with their original chosen envelope number, or gamble their current prize/envelope and choose another envelope number between 1 – 4 The player will win the prize in their final chosen envelope. Prizes are detailed below in section 5.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   Pre-register entries are valid from (the “Start Time”) Wednesday 15th March at 00:01 until Friday 24th March at 11:00am (“End Time”).   The on-air element of this competition will be live from Monday 20th March to Friday 24th March between the hours of 4pm and 7pm (KISS Drive-Time Show), specific times of the competition will be announced during the show hours.   Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
5. THE PRIZE	A maximum of 1 winner per day from Monday 20th March to Friday 24th March will receive the following prize (the “Prize”):   Each day there will be an opportunity to win the “Jackpot Prize” which will be allocated to an envelope each day during the competition week. The other 3 envelopes will be randomly allocated a prize from prize categories 1, 2 and 3 as detailed below (1 prize taken from each category, which will change every day during the competition week). Each respective winner will win only one (1) prize out of the below prizes during the competition.   Jackpot Prize: KISSTORY Festival Tickets, £200 towards travel and accommodation, £100 voucher to spend at KFC   2 x tickets to one of the KISSTORY Festival Events in 2023 as detailed below - The winner can choose between KISSTORY Norwich (Saturday 10th June), KISSTORY Bristol (Saturday 17th June) or KISSTORY London (Saturday 29th July). E-Tickets will be sent by the KISS Events Team at least 48 hours before the event. Full legal names and email addresses of the winner and their guest will be required to send the E-ticket. £200 will be paid via Bank Transfer (Or via cheque). Bank transfer will only be given to the person who won the competition. The records must match the name they entered with, the winner must provide their full name, the address associated with their bank account, their UK bank account number and sort code to receive the transfer. Full home address will be required to send a cheque. £100 Deliveroo / Uber Eats voucher will be sent to the winners email address. The address must match up with the details the entrant entered with. This prize will be provided by Bauer Media. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS.

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition.
