I've done it myself this year for the first time and hope to make in-excess of over £1000.col81 said:It seems by doing this £1000 per year can be had why doesnt everyone do it.
I have told others but they don't seem to trust or just cannot be bothered. At the end of the day a switch incentive is only the equivalent of a night or two in a cheap hotel. My brother charges £125 per hour in his business and showed zero interest in bank switching.
If no direct debits are required it is very easy money but it can become a little stressful if you are switching 2/3 accounts at a time. One bank at a time is easy though but you may miss a switch deal. Hard not to be greedy when free money is available.
The switching process is advertised to take seven days but in reality with a start and finish date it takes 2-3 weeks. TSB switch will take a month or more to get the full incentive. I guess the trick is to write everything down and make sure that you are never overdrawn and charged.
That said £1000 is a £1000
