Setting Wavin (Hep2O) UFH flow controls.

Having finally sorted out the correct actuators for each zone, that drove us all barmy for months, the system now seemingly needs to be 'balanced' so that each zone gets the correct flow. I'm searching this out on Google - the truth is out there, probably - but I wondered if anyone here is familiar with them and could advise?
(Nan had a plumber come out a few months back in order to sort the zone issues, and part of what he did - as I recall - was to open up the flow controls to ensure that this wasn't a cause of one zone in particular not heating up. So I presume it now needs readjusting.)
It's this fellow:

Thanks

Ok, I now know how to adjust it - thankfully straight-forward as shown 8 minutes in on this video:I need to work out roughly the lengths of each circuit - I'll be going 'ballpark' on that one...Question - from what I follow in that video, once you have set a zone's flow, you cannot actually tell what setting it's on?!Both the red cap and scale collar are lifted up and rotated clockwise until it stops turning - that's 'closed'. This will likely be a different position for each control, as it's a 'tap', like a radiator valve? Then, the scale collar is turned anti-clockwise until the chosen flow is at the red pointer, and the collar pushed down to lock it. Finally, the red cap is turned anti-clock until it stops against the collar - that's it now open the correct amount. But, once set, you cannot tell what setting it's on? Or am I going madder?Edit - I'm going madder. You can tell by lifting the head and turning it to the closed position.

Ok, so it's typically 5 metres per square metre, at 200mm spacing - which i'm hoping this one is.Hopefully all done, except two heads were very tight, so I'm not sure whether they have opened to the required level. Worse, one - a loose one - is now dripping slowly :-(So final Q, does anyone know if the red caps can be removed to expose the spindle underneath, and whether they can be tweaked tighter (and looser)?0

I would give Wavin a call tomorrow. They should be able to tell you what can be done. The alternative is to just give the red caps a good tug, or get a spanner under them to see if you can lever one off. You might try one that isn't leaking first. Just be very gentle - I expect that they are just a press fit and will pull off.The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1

Thanks, Tacpot - yes, I'll message them, sending a pic (I think these have been superseded). That would be a good outcome, tho' you already have to pull on them upwards to unclick them from their locked position. I'll get clarification - cheers.0

Had a reply - seems the heads can be removed by pulling them off upwards. Taking care not to snap the plastic spindles...
Since it's all now working, I'm leaving well alone :-)0
