House of Fraser won't accept return

I bought a gilet from HoF for xmas for my son. About a 3 weeks later the zipper came off so the gilet would no longer zip up, which defeated its purpose. After sending pics to HoF customer services they sent me a returns form and label so I returned ot stating why. However it was sent back to me a week later, stating they could find no manufacturing fault, no offer of anything else. Am I entitled to a replacement or refund because surely goods purchased should be expected to last longer than 3 weeks? Any advice on what my rights are? Thanks

Hello OP
Within the first 6 months it is taken the goods had a problem unless the retailer demonstrates otherwise.
Simply saying so isn't demonstrating but HoF is owned by Sports Direct who aren't famed for their customer service.
How much was it and how did you pay?
Do you know why it doesn't zip up and any possibility of a repair? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
Do you mean the bit you move up and down to open and close the teeth has come off?
Could it have been caused by user handling?0 -

Look at the complaints regarding H of F on their Facebook page. I would never do business with them and I think you’d have to take them to court to get any money from them.1
