Morning
Gers I used to love the gym. I fear I loved it a bit too much at one point and was going daily and stay for far too long. Its addictive to feel healthy!
Heating off here its quite mild so no need.
Small Asda delivery arriving this morning couldn't believe how little I will get for the princely sum of £60 ouch that used to be enough for a week of feasting shop now it just covers the basics
No other real plans bar a bin run and probably a drug sort out! I have a payment certificate for scripts which runs out soon so I need to decide if I need a new one before the price goes up but I seem to have a lot at home so maybe Ill hold out. The hospital changed a few this time so I do need a sort out to know what I have and and what is getting low. I reckon its a true sign of boredom when you consider doing lists of when you need to order stuff to save a couple of quid....sigh
Best get on the pills await counting
Big hugs to all x13 -
Morning all it's wet, wet, wet here too and like most of the country, due to last a few days. I spoke to Dad last night and it seems his shed roof is flapping at one end so I've volunteered us to re-felt that when there is some dry weather. It's not as tall as ours and a wooden one so it should be easier and hopefully we'll be rested by then, I think we've missed our calling as roofers 😁
I have a freezer sort out to do today and I can't even blame the messy elf as I did it myself when I threw in my shopping yesterday. I have no other plans and won't go looking for work !
Scarlet thank you, would you like tea or coffee with your cake ? You could make a killing around here as no one has seen a window cleaner for ages except the man with a hose and I wouldn't like that done to the inside, everything would be soggy 😖
Gers will we still recognise the new trim you ?
Take care all, hugs to the poorly ones and those recuperating and the MIA's

Morning. I am finding it difficult to get going today but I did get my nails done yesterday and they are now a fetching shade of kind of turquoise, kind of teal, OH described it as very sci-fi...I have also decided on the style of tattoo I'll be getting [ got to get it done because before long everything will be too wrinkly] so will be working on that for the next few months. Other than that, my day is full of scorching wood outside and cups of tea. I'm not sure I'll even bother getting dressed today. Halfway through the crochet blanket challenge so that's coming on slowly. Also booked my self in for another blood test next week. I might ask them just to put a tap on my arm for future use. Also have two new waterbutts to set up, I want to try and get the water from the greenhouse roof in these two so that's going to take some fiddling with, doing a bit of Heath Robinson with heat guns and pipes. So that's my scratchy disjointed dayGers, you go girl! And there's nothing wrong with pumping iron anyway, keeps osteoporosis at bay..maybe go all personal trainer for a little bit and do some battle ropes
Nels, I hope you've applied for everything you can apply for now, and asked for readjustment due to further things happening. Nanny, good to hear you're in one piece and so is Mr Fixit. Scarlet, want a job at my house? Izzy, could be an opportunity to set one up...fancy a new job? iris, happy sociable meal day! Coxy, well done on running, espeically that early..Have a good one y'all, or at least not a terrible one, take care...

Afternoon all. Still grey & dull interspersed with showers. I've been busy this morning, hoovering upstairs and tidying the bedroom which has become a dumping ground for DH hobby paraphenalia ( makes a change-it's usually mine
) Then I made some low carb seed crackers. Had to put the oven on for half an hour, there were too many to fit in the Ninjagrill. Still there is no heating on so it warmed the place up a bit too. I've just used a forgotten tin of sardines for my lunch, found it when I was looking for the seed mix.
DH & DS2 have just been to drop off the car and show me the new van they just collected. Seems pretty clean & decent, fingers crossed. They'll have to wait for DGS approval as he thought the hire van was 'posh' - he's away for the night with school. I haven't seen him since Monday, or DGD since last Friday- having withdrawal symptoms now !Well done on the run Coxy- I was up at 6 but there were no thoughts in my head of going out for a runbut I did drag the dog out for her walk at 7.15. Hope you enjoy the gym Gers.
I'm having a sort out of clothes to send to CS again. A bag did arrive this week but I hadn't time to do it before collection today.Burgers for tea tonight, nice and easy.Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
