Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Very damp blowy start to the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was chicken wrapped in bacon, with gratin potatoes, veg and gravy. Not sure about tonight but will find something.
Yesterday work wasn't too bad, we'll see how today goes.
Keep safe and well x

Good Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc, raining here too.
I couldn't be bothered to di-ice the car yesterday so went on the bus, all went well until I was coming home, must have hit the time when there are no buses, took me ages so I was grumpy when I got in!
So sorry to hear of your friend TA, sending love to you.
Well done on the DIY Nanny, hope you're resting up now.
The Gym Gers? Hope you enjoy it.
Some things arrived at work that we have been waiting for, the HT was like a kid in a sweet shop, he was so excited! Hoping all his efforts do some good.
Haircut later and then meeting a friend for dinner. All a bit busy but I'll enjoy the catch up.
Have a good day, hugs to the poorlies. Take care. XX12 -
Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
It's cold and raining here like yesterday, I wasn't out at all.
I didn't do the insides of the windows yesterday, but I cleaned the double oven, and gave the fridge a deep clean, everything out, shelves washed etc. So the windows can get done today. If you're going to be in Nanny I'll nip down and do yours!
I must go out today for milk and bread, might look in one or two cs's while I'm out.
Hope you enjoy the gym Gers. I've wondered about going to a gym, but never had the courage. I thought it might finish my poor old body off.
The snow seems pretty bad where you are TA, hope it doesn't last long.
Snoozer, hope your throat doesn't get any worse. My dgd is off school with a throat infection, this must be the latest bug.
Hope everyone has as good a day as they can today, take care folks.13 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. It's a bit milder and no snow. Hallelujah! But we do have a mizzly day in store according to the forecast.
I had the 2 DGDs here to sleep last night as DD has been on a night shift and she doesn't like them home alone. And as it's a teacher strike day they are here most of the day too. Freezer stocks are certainly diminishing now and I am starting to go into panic mode when I see all the gaps!
I don't suppose I will get much done in the way of jobs today but there is always tomorrow! SCARLET can you add me to your window cleaning rota too please. as the window cleaner (and his sackless son) came yesterday and it shows the insides up!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for the poorlies, getting better or MIA. Take care all and stay safe xx

Morning everyone rainy but milder here I think that’s the forecast for the rest of the week Gers I used to love the gym but they closed ours year’s ago and there’s not one for miles it was well used and everyone kicked up a fuss but it didn’t help they had made there minds up my new Fitbit came yesterday my old one broke and the family treat me to a new one for my birthday it has a nice big face my other one which I had had for years had a tiny face I was pleased when it gave up as I couldn’t see it was easy to set up well not for me because I make everything difficult but I got there in the end wherever you live look out you will probably see me marching past your house I’m on a mission now well for as long as it lasts off to work now back in at 5 salmon stir fry for me chops for the hubby. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing12

Morning folks.Looks like there was heavy overnight rain, the fields have pools of water. On the plus side the temperature is now in double figures, barely, so perhaps spring is on the way properly.Going to the gym makes it sound as if I'll be pumping iron 😂 I'll only be using the stationary bike and treadmill. The place is a very small annexe of the main place. I need to improve my lower body strength. Baby steps, starting Monday. I've joined up as it was cheaper than pay and play and should (in theory) keep me going. It's a month to month contract so I'm not tied in.My SIL and nephew in QLD have now booked their flights to Seoul so that's us all done. Six family going for middle nephew's wedding, plus his uncle on his mother's side. This will definitely be my last long-haul journey. My plan to do shopping tomorrow has changed, inevitably. I'll now go today as I don't want my food to be sitting in the car as I have a long lunch with friends tomorrow.Scarlet - you get a star ⭐️ for all that effort yesterday.Camelot - happy haircut!TA - hugs to your friend.Happy Thursday to all.13

Morning all and thanks for the thread nmlc x
I had a very early night (9pm) last night and got up at 6am to go for a run. First time in months. I'd got all my kit out last night so no excuse. Did my usual 5k route - walked a bit - but was happy to do it. Will probably stiffen up later and regret it big time!
Great to hear you've joined the gym @Gers
That's a great present @IzzyBee - my Fitbit broke but I track my steps (or lack of) on my phone. Salmon stir fry sounds lush.
Dinner tonight is sweet chilli chicken with rice. I have some more Bay of E listing to do. DSis gave me loads of bits at the weekend so I need to photograph them and get them listed.
Hope our poorlies are doing okay.
Have a good day all,

Morning all
Damp and drizzley here too and set in for a few days now, I’m off to collect my private client today and take him to work will leave just after lunch to go and do some shopping.
Pork belly for dinner tonight will do a sticky sauce with it and rice, no washing to do today but what’s the betting there will be loads tomorrow !
Had a lovely day with the chap yesterday I did manage to get him out for an hours walk he was hesitant but I think enjoyed it once we were out, we came home and had lunch and then watched 101 Dalmatian’s 😀 which he loved, that’s all he wants to do really sit and watch a film !
Have good days all and take care xxx

Morning Everyone and thanks for starting us off nmlc
It's also a bit damp here atm but at least it's not raining, although forecast.
It's lunch at the village hall today - jacket potato and sausages/cheese/baked beans and cheesecake. It's a very friendly lunch with lots of chatter. Hooray no cooking for me tonight
Hope you all have a lovely day.11 -
Morning everyone
Damp and drizzly here this morning too. Seems milder though so that's good.
I have a long form to fill in - I got some more done yesterday and will try to finish it this morning - my hands hurt when I write so it's taking a while.
I think tea tonight will be a mushroom omelette as I bought mushrooms and haven't used them yet.
Gers - good luck at the gym - I think I could only go if there was no one else there!
Hope everyone has a good day today x
