How do I stop a moto E7 mobile waking up with movement? The battery goes flat.

My friends moto E7 android mobile keeps turning on, in other words waking up, and the screen lights up with movement.

This is running the battery down.

I cannot find anything in settings to prevent this,

Please help.

    Is Lift to Wake switched off?
    Settings > Display > Advanced > Lock screen display > Lift to Wake

    Is Lift to Wake switched off?
    Settings > Display > Advanced > Lock screen display > Lift to Wake

    I have found "lift to check phone. It is off. Turned to on and then off,  Still have problem,

    Has anyone experienced  being unable to change the, "lift to wake / check" setting?

    factory reset.

    make sure to make aback up to Google a/c first
