I'm another one that puts pretty much all my spending on credit cards. They get paid off in full by direct debit.
I can't remember the last time I used my debit card anywhere other than to occasionally withdraw some cash.Debt Jan 2008: £45,566. *** June 2013: DEBT FREE! ***
Paid back just under £50,000 due to some interest added.
Dealt with my debt through a Step Change (CCCS) DMP.

I always use my CC never debit.
Main reason is to keep my back account statement cleaner, only takes seconds to have a look to see if everything is ok.
When I hear of people saying I forgot to cancel a subscription and didn't notice, I do wonder if it's because it's lost in multiple debit card transactions

As per other posts, we usually spend only on credit cards and have done for the last 5 years. The direct debit payment (in full) date has been chosen to suit our cashflow. We utilise cashback credit cards and earn around £250 a year for this.
However, we've started to pay more on debit cards recently, thanks to Chase 1% and Nationwide 5% offers. I still prefer credit cards as it is simpler to have 1 payment out of the bank rather than many.
