IVA & pregnancy
Hi, I have an IVA active from august 2022 it’s been going well and I’m overall happy with it. However I have just found out I am pregnant (already have 2 yo) and I am concerned about it affecting my IVA. I am over the moon I am pregnant and am very excited but the IVA lingering now is sending my anxiety through the roof. I will be entitled to more benefits so paying and my outgoings once the baby arrives I’m not worried about it’s more what they will say about me taking maternity leave from work. Is there any advice on this or will they fail my IVA I really don’t want it to fail.
Thanks in advance

Hold on, let's have some more information please.
How much was your total debt?
Do you have a mortgage?
Who advised an IVA, a debt charity or an advert on social media?
The answer to these questions will help us give you advice.

Total debt was just over 13k no mortgage & I contacted a debt charity as I was having anxiety attacks over it.0

The answer is that you talk to your IP and they agree reduced payments or no payments for a time. They're not going to fail the IVA because you're an easy source of funds for them.
Why on earth you'd do an IVA for just over 13k and no mortgage eludes me but at least as you went through a charity (Stepchange) then they will be your IP rather than someone dodgy.
