EasyJet Crutches for recovering broken leg. will I get charged?

From the above, its a bit vague on what will happen with crutches.

Will they place them in the crew cupboard, or will I get charged?

I can walk slightly but I am still recovering.

Crutches and walking frames can be brought on-board. Our Cabin Crew will store them for you and return them after landing.

and I'd be amazed if there was any suggestion of money changing hands for that (in the absence of any mention there), but if you're concerned then the link to contact the special assistance team is shown in the article you linked to.
