I am Interested in an item but the seller is not responding to any queries regarding item. He is also a newbie as he has zero feedback. Shall I walk away? The price seems to be too good to be true. Thanks

Obvious answer is walk away.
I bought a fitness band cheap off ebay. Turned out to be a fake.
Got my money back from ebay.
A genuine seller should answer your questions OR mark themselves as away.0 -
If you need answers to a question before you decide whether to go ahead or not and seller isn't responding then I can't see you have any choice than to walk away.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. How much time have you given the seller to respond? Not everyone lives on their phone or laptop.
A few years ago I listed an item at about 7:00 pm on a Sunday and turned my laptop off for the evening.
The next morning I turned my laptop back on at about 11:00 am Monday morning to find several messages from one individual. The first one from about 10:00pm asking a question, the answer to which was in the listing.
That initial message was followed by several increasingly irate chasing messages overnight and a final message at about 9:00 am Monday morning saying something like 'Unfollowed, if you can't be bothered replying I'm not buying'.
I did not respond and just blocked the sender. The item sold well a week later.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".2 -
I've been in the identical situation.
Saw an item that I was interested in - auction.
I messaged the seller to ask a couple of basic questions as there was minimal information in the listing.
Zero feedback.
Zero response.
Item now removed from my watchlist.

I once had a buyer place an offer and send a question at 2am.
At 5am he cancelled his offer because I hadn't replied to his query!!!! lol
I generally expect to have an answer to any questions I may send to a seller within 24 hours.
Personally, I respond to questions as quickly as I possible can - sometimes within minutes, the longest would be 3 hours or so.
If you have not had a response for several days, especially after sending a couple of messages, then I would walk away and find another seller.1
