Morning all, well we survived, just 😁 The roofing is done but took us all day and no firemen were involved 🤨 I was shattered last night and today Mr Fix It is struggling to walk up steps/stairs without moaning and I'm in pain with my shoulders and arms so we're a right pair and the house stinks of Deep heat !
I needed to go shopping this morning and thought we were going to Morries as I needed some specific items, but my driver got his wires crossed and we turned the other way and ended up in Aldi instead. Anyway I bought what I could (lots of empty shelves, freezers, no frozen broccoli or green beans so DGD won't be happy, but I did get her favourite pizza) I have dumped the freezer goods unceremoniously in the freezer now I'm having a cuppa before I tackle emptying the rest of the bags and putting it away. No idea what to have for tea though 😂
TA I was so sorry to read about your friend and I wish her peace and lots of love.
Scarlet my windows need doing too, any chance you could pop down ?
Rosy good news about the van.
Bella hope you can get the mats done, I got 2 loads line dry yesterday in between the roofing, I'm a glutton for punishment !
Snoozer hope you get your holiday, sunny Spain sounds wonderful.
Coxy hope your throat gets better soon.
Sorry if I've missed some of you, I've got brain fog again.
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.
nan xx

Done the deed! I went down to the wee gym, it's an 'annexe' of the big one at the local school, it's got one stationary bike, a stepper and a couple of treadmills. The chap was very friendly and explained it all so, once I got back home, I joined up. My new gym gear is coming on Friday, I didn't even have trainers anymore.I've also taken and submitted electricity readings, the selfie stick is such a perfect solution for me, emptied the DW, put away the now dried washing and changed my optician's appointment. My soup was lovely so I'm now ready for an afternoon with Vera! It's good to read that Nan & Mr Fixit have survived their roof climbing adventures.11

Afternoon everyone
We had a very frosty start this morning, nice and sunny now. I've been down to mam and dads this morning, had a cuppa and did his banking. Then I went into town to collect my prescription and get a few bits. Had a look in 2 charity shops - I got some nice black trousers for myself and a couple of tops and leggings for little one - one is a brand new top, navy and white stripes with a cat wearing a sparkly crown on the front - she can wear it for our Coronation party at nursery...a bargain at £1.99.
Had a nice chat with eldest DD in Germany last night - she rang to show me her new hair style as she'd just been to the hairdresser - she's very blonde now.
Right, I'm going to put my shopping away then I have some forms to fill in.
Hope everyone has a good day today x9 -
