Hi all
Ive just got married a couple of weeks ago 👏 and want to double barrel my name (I have a daughter from previous relationship so want to keep my original name for her sake but also take my husbands name)
my question is that I am Irish, have an Irish passport so can I change my name by deed poll in the UK for villa, banking etc?
thank you

I think your marriage certificate is sufficient , just as it is if you were taking your husbands surname, as long as the two names are those on the marriage certificate.0
