Don't bother even responding to DCB Legal. This is one of the expected steps they take in the hope that you are gullible enough to accept. The next step is usually discontinuation. Stay strong.

I received a similar offer, which I've ignored but today I received an email from the courts to advise that my case has been transferred to the Birmingham Court. I wonder if DCB Legal will send the discontinuation notice or pursue through courts.

Teddington, as your case is similar I suspect you may also receive an email from the courts...

This is a normal stage. Discontinuation of single PCN DCBLegal cases comes when a hearing date is near, in a few months.

And while your case is quiet this Summer, and @Teddington25 too:

Hi Teddington, what's the latest on your case? I received the letter from Bham Court yesterday confirming the court date in late Nov-23. 

I am assuming the case isn't going to be withdrawn by the Claimant and this is going to go to court.

If yours is DCBLegal it will be discontinued when DCB see your WS and evidence.

The last time @Teddington25 was active on this sub-forum was early August and forum generally was Mid-September, therefore it might be better for you to send them a DM by using the envelope symbol at top of the page.

Hi all - just a brief update, DCBL's claim was struck out by the Judge on the basis it wasn't pleaded properly and the claim was disproportionate! They have the opportunity to appeal it and they have tried to contact me today but I ignored the call. Will let you know if they choose to appeal/re issue!

Great news! Please please show us the Judge's Order including which Judge & Court.  You mean you had a hearing?

Great news. Looks like CEL v Chan is starting to finally bite.
