Hi All,
Im not sure if ive messed up but i listened to the advice of "dont do anything just yet" and basically forgot about it and filed it in the "things to do list" in my head!
Ive now got bailiffs letter and "Debt Collection Notice- £155-Debt Unpaid"
Ive been on the Apcoa website which now tells me i can't appeal as
" This Charge Notice has now been passed to an Enforcement Agent and therefore payment cannot be accepted on this website. Payment must be made directly to the Enforcement Agent and you must refer to any correspondance you have received from them on how payment can be made."
what do i do???

Have you gone back and read the Newbies /FAQ thread again? You should be using that thread as a reference guide every time you have a question. If you go back and re-read that thread you would already know that you can safely ignore any debt collector letters as they are powerless to do anything.
As it is APCOA, you should already know that they are benign and had you appealed as advised earlier, this would have disappeared by now. As APCOA has not started any court claims for many years, just keep ignoring any debt collector letters.1 -
So they cant/wont come and clamp the car or anything?
i have re read a load of threads but most people seem to have at least appealed which i have now missed the chance of doing
Should i contact the Debt collection agency and say i have no knowledge of anyone parking at ....
At least i would have some correspondence logged or is it best to just simply ignore??. If that's the case why would anyone bother with the hassle of appealing anyway??

When you read the NEWBIE sticky fourth post did you see the bit about debt collectors being powerless, along with the advice about what to do with their letters - line the bottom of the parrot's cage!2
