Indoor IP camera with outside night view?

I have couple of indoor IP cameras. They work fine in daytime when I face them outside via glass windows. But at night due to light reflection (from the camera itself) they are basically useless.
Are there good IP cameras which I can put inside of the house with good night view via clear glass window?

No they will all reflect the ir and blind itself, you need an outside lamp and turn off ir, the lamp can be normal or an ir lamp that only the camera will see, some cameras can't see 750nm ir so the standard ones will have the red glow to them.

You could try putting a polarising filter in front of the lens. But it will reduce the amount of light falling on the sensor, so dim images will be even darker.

Even a wifi and solar camera likely needs a good drill.
Also a small cam in the window is more covert and less ugly.
Here's the IR light i got last month. And it is a version that's 850mn that has a warning that not all cams can see it.

If you have outside lights why not install as Ring Floodlight Camera - straight swap for an existing light - even I could do it!0

I used to have one before i installed my dvr system. When i had the ip one i would turn off the night vision and i would turn up the brightness to help. We have a street lamp outside next doors which helps light up the area too.0

Same issue here, I got a couple of cameras for inside the house and they work great.I wanted one looking out by the front door. It works in the day but the night vision just reflects against the glass at night. I did find that setting it in day mode works fine at night when there is enough light outside (street lamps). However they turn the street lamps off here at midnight so after midnight you can't see much.Like you, I don't really want the expense of outdoor cameras not to mention drilling holes through walls or crawling around in the loft.0

No there aren't any cameras you can use internally behind a glass window that give a decent picture unless there's at least a fair level of ambient light outside. Infra red used for night lighting will always reflect off a glass surface. Has to be either an outdoor camera, or an indoor camera with no infra red and decent outside lighting.0

I have now turned off IR mode. It gives decent image thru glass in streetlight. Off course when it pitch dark I can't see much but that's OK.
I was not aware that it was possible to turn off night mode 😃Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.1
