Amex £20 “welcome bonus cashback”

Back in May last year I applied and was accepted for an Amex Platinum Cashback credit card. As far as I was aware the welcome bonus was 5% cashback for the first 3 months up to £100, which appears what I did receive in the first 3 months, as it currently states on their website.
However just looking at my cashback summary, and a few days ago they have added a £20 “welcome bonus cashback” payment, and I’m not sure why. I’ve seen the refer a friend £20 offer, however I have not referred anyone. I can’t remember seeing any extra cashback offer at the time of applying. Any ideas?
