Section 75 cover for flights?

This is what travel insurance is for. Relying on S75 is not prudent.milleniumaire said:I'm looking to purchase 6 flights and I'm a little concerned about paying for all the flights on my own credit card as I think there may be possible issues with any section 75 claim, or possibly an insurance claim, should it be necessary.0 -
It's not an either/or situation - paying by card does offer additional protection over and above what typical travel insurance will cover (airline failure is often sold as an add-on), and most insurers will only pay out costs that couldn't be recovered via other means anyway.MEM62 said:

In any case, OP already made it clear that they have travel insurance so weren't seeking to rely on s75 instead....1
