Mercedes breakdown Mobilo

Hi

We were at one of our kids the other day and they told us they'd been out and was going to fill the car up but could not open the fuel flap on their Mercedes.
They returned home and rang Mercedes breakdown services operated by their in-house service called mobilo supported by the RAC.

As we sat eating and drinking, the Mobilo van and Mercedes technician turned up within the hour as advised by their call centre as the car was at home on the drive otherwise they would have sent out someone sooner but our kid was happy with that.  The engineer like us knew what the fault was and replaced the small unit next to the fuel cap and it took him 20/25 mins.  Saved our kid taking the car to the garage, taking time of work and possibly paying around 250 quid as MB about rates around London are over 200 an hour I'm guessing.

The cost of this very quick trouble free repair, sub 40 quid for the part.

Well done MB for a very fast service and on-the-spot repair.
