    Just keep away from plants about 6 or 7 inches ,its never affected my flowers or veg.

    Thanks but the perceived problem is that a pressure washer would remove the cement in between the slabs. He doesn't want another job. We do have a Kracher ( inherited ) but its never been allowed to be used

    But a patio brush spins round and with the pressurised water and chemical ( soap ) it cleans the ground without direct water pressure so the cement should be ok ,as others have said if it is that loose it needs re-doing anyway .

    At my last house I did mine with my pressure washer perhaps 3 or 4 times a year and was there 8 years. Never had to re do the cement.
