Have you tried supermarket own brands as I'd expect them to be cheaper?

At the end of the day it's just water, and I'm not sure I can tell if I'm drinking something like Evian or not.

The only glass bottles I know of are Perrier (rare in UK), Evian Limited Edition (never seen) and Châteldon, the  very first French mineral water as supplied to Louis 14, which is £5 per bottle in UK, so haven't tried that !

Supermarket brand water sounds cheaper, but is it filtered tap water ?? A lot of Scottish water comes from lochs. A lot of water in Liverpool comes from Welsh llyns. Me, bro, grandma and parents drank delicious water from mountain streams in Snowdonia and ended up with vomiting and diarrhoea, all five of us. Not clever in a Welsh holiday cottage with one bathroom.

There was quite possibly a dead sheep upstream from where you were drinking, I never suffered such side effects in S Wales.
Own label spring water in this country is exactly that so just carry on tasting until you find one you like.

6 1.5 litre bottles of Evian is £4.50 at Morrisons or £4.75 on Amazon at the moment.  To be honest don't think you can beat it so I would be tempted to stick with Evian (it is what I drink)

I live in a hard water area and use a softener for hot water and bathrooms. The kitchen tap is hard. I use spring water (not filtered) for my coffee maker to save having to use Oust every 6 weeks!

I use the cheapeast spring water I can get and that is from Lidl. At one point it was 19p for 2L and is now 25p. Their Premium Brand "Carrick Glen" is more expensive, but only 31p for the same size.

    Regards

    Eau de Mouton Gallois ..eww

I have found Muszynianka 1.5 L for 1.20 at Sainsbury's which is still and Polish. Luckily he has a Polish supervisor, so he can ask him if it's any good. Anyone tried it ? It has 5 stars from 6 reviews.

I know an evian fan and generally the only more budget friendly bottled option that is vaguely acceptable to them is nestle pure life. YMMV.
