Bottled water recommendations please

We live in a hard water area. Our tap water comes from a spring, through chalk, but it's so hard that we have to descale our kettle and also our loo ! We drink bottled water because the tap water doesn't taste good. I love Evian, but the price on Amazon for a case is mega ridculous now and it's often out of stock in Sainsbury's (nearest supermarket).
I'm looking for 1.5 litre bottles so that husband can use his in-car travel mug to make tea and coffee. He's got a 12v coolbox to keep it cool.He wants European, preferably French, Italian or Polish water.
Any recommendations please ? Any discount stores that sell water cheaply ? If you've seen the report on MSN today, you'll see why he's not keen to use tap water, shared utensils etc.
TIA X

I like Volvic, flavoured sugar-free. Around £1.25 in most supermarkets but often reduced. Couldn’t say what the plain waters like though1

I presume you've tried and/or rejected using a water filter jug ?1

Amazon is probably the most expensive place to buy bottled water.
And lots of other things now.

You might find it works out cheaper to buy bigger bottles and then decant into smaller ones for carrying around.Personally, I would start at the supermarket with the cheapest ones and see what I liked the taste of, or, as mentioned, use a waterfilter to fill my own bottles.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

@p00hsticks and @sarah1972 my mother has a water filter and looking at the gunk which is left in it, I would rather drink purer water in the first place. Our water is so hard, that Evian tastes silky smooth.

We are in a soft water area and use a Brita jug with brita cartridges. There's no (visible) gunk in them, though.
We have, however, used bottled water in the past and often buy bottles for when and if we travel and it's usually Highland Spring, which is, as much as water can be I guess, quite tasty. They say that Highland Spring is one of the first UK bottled water companies that has its water catchment area certified by the Soil Association. And that their water is sourced from organic land, precisely the Ochil Hills in Scotland.
Evian comes from the French Alps, so I was hoping that water from Scotland may be a bit cheaper? But I don't know. Just recommending Highland Spring, which my family and I like. (Oh sorry, just spotted that your husband wants European water . . but Highland Spring is nice! But not European, sorry). Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
