Paypal linked account - bank switch

Whenever an existing Paypal linked DD is transferred as part of a current account switch, i notice the Paypal linked account details (on Paypal account) don't seem to update.

Do i need to change it manually on Paypal side in order to pay with the new current account?

I'd just do it manually to be sure, Takes a couple of minutes. I would say PayPal is a bit rubbish on the I.T side, they send me a 6 digit code which I type in and then it says it does not recognise me.

They might only update after a payment is requested.

It should switch automatically, although it's quick and easy to do it on the PayPal app and it guarantees your new details will be installed.
