Paypal linked account - bank switch

Whenever an existing Paypal linked DD is transferred as part of a current account switch, i notice the Paypal linked account details (on Paypal account) don't seem to update.
Do i need to change it manually on Paypal side in order to pay with the new current account?
Hope you understand what i mean.

I'd just do it manually to be sure, Takes a couple of minutes. I would say PayPal is a bit rubbish on the I.T side, they send me a 6 digit code which I type in and then it says it does not recognise me.1

It should switch automatically, although it's quick and easy to do it on the PayPal app and it guarantees your new details will be installed.0
