Morning all.Happy Birthday to TA 🎂and Izzy 🎂 I hope you have lots of cake, fizz and great presents.
Yesterday I was pleasingly lazy. Unpacking my wee case took up no more than 10 minutes of my time. I sorted through the accumulated post the highlights being notice of car tax renewal, income tax coding for 2023-24, a late birthday present book and a hospital appointment for four weeks time. The appointment is a result of my visit to the doctor last week, great service.Last night I slept long and deep, I woke at 8.15am in the same position as I went to sleep, I may just have another snooze. 😳
My thoughts are with our poorlies and those who are healing too. Chrisca, I hope that your vision clears soon. Happy Sunday to all.12 -

Morning all,
Happy birthday @TravellingAbuela and @IzzyBee - hope you both enjoy your days x
Great to hear from you @poppy811 and glad you are getting support xx
I have been a bit low since the young lads' funeral on Thursday. Didn't help that I was on my own for Thursday and Friday as DH was away with work. In better news, I lost 1.5lb at FC yesterday and called Target. I can now be 3lb above or below that weight to not have to pay, so that saves me £5.95 a week.
DD arrived home unexpectedly yesterday. She has finally woken up and smelled the coffee and has finished with BF of 3 years after yet another let down. This time, no support over her recent redundancy (last time was no gift for her 21st). Nice enough lad but very emotionally stunted, which is a shame.
I am off food shopping today and may potter in the garden as the weather looks to be dry. I also have another load of stuff to list on Bay of E courtesy of my DSis. Spare room is beginning to look like a warehouse much to DH's annoyance.
Have a good day all

Happy birthdays! 🍰🍰
I had a MRI yesterday and got a bruise on my hand today from where the lad (who looked 16) mangled the needle thing for the contrast. Results in a few weeks.
we also went to the garden centre and I got very cold and a couple of small new plants fell into my basket 🤣. Slept all afternoon and then SD and her hubby came over in the evening which was nice.
Today will be a bit more sleep and then housework and getting ready for work. Oh and crufts catch up.⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Hi everybody,
Happy birthday TA and Izzybee.
Nice to see you posting Poppy.
The family returned on Friday evening and the house has descended into chaos very quickly. L and B went to London yesterday for a belated birthday celebration with friends, leaving us with the children. It was fine and they were back by Esben's bedtime so that was fine.
Today will be fairly quiet, I will be making beef carbonade for dinner and having a quick tidy while Esben is at softplay with his little girl friend.
Have a good day.

Morning everyone
Happy Birthday to Izzy and TA - enjoy your days. Very windy here today and freezing cold. I'll be going down to mam and dads soon to do his jobs on the laptop. Other than that my only plan is to read my Sunday Times and start filling in the PIP forms that came yesterday. I think I qualify, just ned to make sure I word my answers properly.
I woke up yesterday morning with little one sitting next to me in my bed, just staring at me 'Come on granny' she says 'it's 5..1...8 ! I think you'll all guess my reply and she snuggled down next to me. I have no idea whether she went back to sleep because I did...next think I knew it was half past 7.
We went into town and she chose some bits for her mummy's birthday in a couple of weeks and a pretty snow globe for Mothers Day next week. Then she was hungry and her alarm went off so we went into Costa for hot chocolate - very nice it as too. Then up to the library where her favourite lady was working so she was allowed to stamp her own books. It was nice enough after lunch for me to sit out in the sunshine with my coat on while she played on her bike.
Well I'd better get dressed and then brave this wind. Hope everyone has a good day x11 -
Morning all
Dry and bright here for the moment but rain due later on, I have stripped the beds and got the bedding on a hot wash will attempt to hang them on the line for a while there is nothing like the smell of line dried bedding.
Chicken meal deal for dinner tonight, Rosy it does seem like good value, the steak we had last night was delicious and very tender.
Quick wiz round the house this morning and then do the spuds for dinner and will then get the dogs out for a good walk. I am also really enjoying Crufts can’t wait for best in show tonight.
