Now back, there has been no more snow thank heavens, it was surprising how quickly it disappeared yesterday.

We went fo a beach walk, well wrapped up of course, the wind was bitter. Loads of other people were doing the same, it was nice to see so many people having a good walk. They were probably like us, hadn't been out for days.

There's a big Morries on the seafront so I did a shop there, but stuck to my list, no impulse buys.

I don't know what we are doing today, who knows what delights the day may have to offer!

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET for starting us off.  We had another snowfall last night, topping up what was already there but overnight rain and milder temps are now doing a good job of thawing it. I hope that's the last of it for this winter.

Well it's Happy Birthday to me day today. Although getting increasingly ancient isn't much to celebrate! DD has booked early dinner for us so I will treat myself to a big breakfast and hope that keeps me going until then! There will be quite a party of us with DD, her DP and 2 DGDs, plus DS and his DP. Middle DGD is a bit miffed not to be joining us as she is at her Sunday Renaissance session in Leeds.

No jobs are planned for today, they can wait until tomorrow! So a slothful day until it's time to get myself ready for off.

just thought I would pop in to say hello to those who might remember me. The inoperable cancer is obviously still with me and I am more and more limited as to what I can do.  District nurses are now in contact and a local nursing charity helps me with a shower once a week.
very lucky with family and friends who give me a lot of help.  We had a lot of snow here but all gone now.

Well it snowed overnight, it was sleeting when I went to bed but there was a good covering when I got up. It's raining now so can't imagine it will stay around for long.

Got lots of housework done yesterday and the washing all dried on the line, my coat is just airing off, it takes ages to dry.

Swim this morning then I must do some shopping for the week ahead. Apart from that I don't have anything planned, I may just have a lazy Sunday.

Not alot going on here.  Eye is still very blurry and watery but apparently this is normal for a few days or even weeks after.  Will be nice to see properly out of it eventually though! 

Weather looks bright out there and it's a couple of degrees warmer here today which is good.  I might have a watch of Match of the Day later in it's new guise!

Morning everyone I’m back from my week away which I thoroughly enjoyed we didn’t have a flake of snow blue skies all the way although cold happy birthday TA you share my birthday I have now got a year to work hallelujah not that I will be doing anything housework washing and some batch cooking after I’ve been to Lidl what a glamorous life I lead I have read along most days or at least tried to but I’ve got a memory like a sieve but happy birthday to anyone I’ve missed Gers pleased you enjoyed your travels hoping all that are struggling are feeling better poppy nice to see you back I am not going to look out of the window we have loads of snow here I got a shock at how much there was when I got back the ski club up the dale has set away again with a story off someone who has come over from New York to ski I can’t wait for it to go I don’t think we are due anymore fingers crossed it’s soon gone . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing
