CC TV access school

Dont know if this is in the right forum, but does anyone know if a child is involved in a incident in a secondary school and is
facing possible expulsion does the child's parents have the right to view the cc tv footage on which the expulsion is being
based on.

    Generally speaking, anybody who's in CCTV footage is a data subject and entitled to a copy of it - though strictly speaking that only means the bits they're in (and may be subject to anybody else having to be redacted from it).

    Do a subject access request, if they deny then go to the information commissioner.  They might have to blur out other people
