eSure car insurance renewal - comprehensive is no longer comprehensive

Just had my car insurance renewal quote. Along with the updated policy documents there was an amendment document. This stated that any car that they insured, which did not have a tracker would now be excluded from the theft & break in clause.
So, this means that now, the fully comprehensive insurance policy offered with eSure no longer cover vehicle theft or break-ins, only driving accidents & fire, unless you have a tracker fitted.
So their comprehensive car insurance policy is NOT in any way comprehensive!
I've therefore shopped around this morning & found a 'real' fully comp policy with swinton & also saved £50.
I'd therefore strongly advise EVERYONE to check their insurance documents. I wonder how many people will unwittingly renew their policy without first reading the small print. How many people will buy fully comp insurance with esure & be unaware that they will no longer be covered if their car is stolen.
Shame on you eSure.

This may be vehicle or policyholder specfic as there is no mention in their policy document which hasn't been amended since Jan 2021.

I have Esure and renewed a few weeks ago, in the policy booklet at the end there are a list of possible endorsements which may apply and what they mean.Endorsement 13 is the one about tracker. The endorsements only apply if they are listed in the "endorsements" section of the schedule. As daveyjp says, if they apply it is because of the particular car that the OP has, the area he lives in, or his claim history.(I'm amazed that anything around here with keyless start can even get a quote. We must be the car crime capital of Europe here)
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)
