Best Low Maintenance Savings Accounts.

I'm looking for recommendations for instant/easy access savings accounts which pretty much tick along without any input. So nothing which only lasts a year or which involves having to actively open the latest version or call to have the interest increased.
Are there any which have remotely decent rates? I'm happy to switch around but these are not for me.

There are savings accounts with rates linked to the base rate, but usually their rates aren't in the top lines.Al Rayan is pretty good - based on my experience. It's not tracker, but is 3.05% currently after increasing the rate several times, but there's no guarantee that this will go on.

Thanks. That's just what I'm looking for. Maybe not the best but not dismal and tick along quite happily without any intervention.0

I like Ford Money and have used them for a few years without any issue. They also play fair with savers in that everyone gets the same rate whether they are a new or existing customer. No gimmicks. Never the best rate but not far from the top3

Al Rayan Everyday Saver (issue 3) and Zopa Smart Saver fit your description.BestSeagull said:I'm looking for recommendations for instant/easy access savings accounts which pretty much tick along without any input. As mentioned above, I think the Zopa Smart Saver is probably the best option and has the advantage of it's 'boosted pots' system which gives you convenient access to even higher rates without the need for creating separate notice accounts.
The Ford Money Flexible Saver and Atom Instant Saver are other examples of easy access accounts where rate increases are applied without the need for new issues and there is no bonus element to the rate.
I have all three of these and simply move my money to whichever is paying the highest rate at the time. As Atom has been left behind, I would expect a boost to it's rate in the next week or so.1 -
Personally, I like Atom's instant access saver due to its true instant (for me) access nature for withdrawals to my linked account. It's a simple straight rate not involving the quirks of time-based bonuses or requiring upgrading to new issues. But their rate is not as competitive lately at 2.95% AER which is 0.45% below top spot Chip.1

Also Ford Money seem to increased the speed of withdrawals. Now same day/only a couple of hours, rather than a day .Rich1976 said:I like Ford Money and have used them for a few years without any issue. Also you see almost zero complaints on the forum about them.4 -
Marcus. 2.80%. Easiest savings account in the world to operate

Maybe something like HL Active savings would fit the bill, it's not the highest rate but means your money will be switched if there is a better rate or it drops. You might also want to consider investments if it's money you don't need and can just let it sit there growing.BestSeagull said:Thanks. That's just what I'm looking for. Not a good alternative to "instant/easy access" savings that the OP wants.jimjames said:
