OK, i'm probably wrong (i've read so much info the last few days my heads spinning so no doubt I'm confused) but I think I read if the PPC get your details from the DVLA then this serves as the NTK?.....

Either way this was the first thing we had from TPS.

    Yep that's it.

So £135 is because the PCN was £75.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    I see.
Oh those 2 images are the ones i received in a larger format, where the minutes on the time stamp are unreadable.
I've just noticed they didn't include the PDT records for that day either, but as i mentioned before we used the RingGo app to register for parking so I don't know if this is different?
Also they're still stating it's non-payment and not an overstay.
Probably none of that matters though.

Ok so i take it that means i can't post the pictures of the car coming and going, but what about just the portion that shows the timestamp and not the whole copyrighted pic?
Thousands of visitors/victims/users of this forum post the pictures that the PPCs have taken of their cars. I don't think there has ever been a claim against them for copyright infringement.

Whilst we know that these scammers may be intellectually challenged, I seriously doubt that any of them, including this one, would be so stupid as to try a copyright infringement claim for your use of those photos.

Anyway, you are using them for non-commercial research which makes it even more stupid if they were to try and prevent you.

Those photos do not prove anything except that someone drove in and then out of that car park. What happened beyond the cameras is anybody's guess. Whatever the PPC is alleging, they have to prove.

Though I haven't emailed BW Legal to tell them that (or the part about the 30 day debt advise) as i wondered if i should do that now, or wait until nearer the end of the 5th April deadline they've given to buy a little time?

As per Newbies, if you are using the 30-day debt advice extension to give you more time then leave it as late as possible. If/when you do send that request, don't expect a response. Just don't expect an N1 claim form before your 30 days are up.
but should we just pay the £135 to BW Legal and be done with it.
Absolutely NOT!!! Unless you are happy to part with your hard-earned money and continue funding these scammers. If you follow the advice and read, re-read and read again the Newbies thread near the top of this forum as advised by @Le_Kirk above you should not have to pay a penny.
OK just to flag that the above is the advice.

    DO NOT PAY.

  • I'm tighter than a ducks bum when it comes to money these days and now I have a little more knowledge/advice on the situation.... they certainly wont be getting a penny from me unless a court rules I have to.
