Buying euros with dollars.

I have a U.S bank account that is funded by a small business that pays me in dollars. When we go over I use it to fund our spending.
Last trip I drew out far more money than I needed and ending up bring the cash home.
We are going on a Mediterranean cruise and I can’t see a way to buy euros over here with Dollars.
Usually I would just buy them from and exchange location in Spain but our flight arrives too late to do this and we have an early departure the next morning and would rather not change it on the ship as their rates are akin to scalpers

Is there a way to do this or is considered money laundering or something.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

It wouldn't be money laundering. It will be possible to do this in the UK at any bank/exchange however it would be two transactions USD > GBP and then GBP > EUR. This means it will cost you as you'll be losing out twice on the exchange rates.
Changing in Europe shouldn't cost as much as there's only one transaction. Can you not do it on land on one of your stops?1 -

yep, as said it can be done but you have to go through gbp so its expensive.
if you need some euros maybe a small amount at the airport to tide you over till you get to a stop.1
