Micks Garage / Carracks Returns Issue

Hello, looking for some advice

I purchased 2 items from Carracks UK who appear to be the same company as Micks Garage based in Dublin. I purchased the items on 31st Jan 23. The goods ended up stuck with Parcel Force in London as apparently all that was on the delivery address was my postcode. Parcel Force said the sender had to contact An Post to correct the delivery address. Carracks refused to be involved saying it was not their responsibility and An Post wouldn't update the delivery address they were unauthorized to do so.

So I've had to wait for the item to be returned to Carracks warehouse. It appears from tracking it was returned on 14 Feb 23. Carracks's website states they process returns within 7 days. I have been emailing almost daily to try find out what is happening and no one is helping. I just get the same automated message.

The telephone number on their website 024 76993196 is just a message saying email info@micksgarage and also states you can contact them via facebook. Their facebook page looks odd https://www.facebook.com/micksgarage
all the reviews are fake and I'm really starting to worry about the legitimacy of this company.

Also their website makes several claims which I'm sure cannot be correct. What can consumers do about such claims?
"We currently hold a 99% on time delivery rate"
"We currently hold a +99% on time delivery rate and we always monitor the performance of our carriers closely to ensure the best possible service for our customers"

Any advice on how to escalate this matter? I thought about trying to find directors contact details. I'm starting to worry I will never see my money again!

Hopefully you paid by card so you can contact your bank to initiate a Chargeback (or possibly a S75 claim if you used a credit card and the value is between £100 and £30,000).

According to companies house there is no limited company of that name. Carracks Limited was a Scottish company that was dissolved a few years ago. The address is just a mailing address and the telephone number is a Bradford number.
