Landline rings, "dad answer your video call".... "it hasn't rung, try again"....... It rings.
I double check the volume is up.
The phone has been on my lap.
I can only assume she didn't allow enough time for a connection to be made. Unless you can think of anything?.

Sorry, not sure what the problem is here apart from one video call that perhaps didn't connect. Or do you mean it does it constantly? If it's just the once I refer you to the answer above...Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

It might help to tell us what video call software you and your daughter are using.

If it's WhatsApp, I quite often get that, which I notice by a "missed video call" notification later.As already stated, technology is not perfect.
