Has anybody else experienced this with their EDF bill?  EDF are adding a charge to my bill (in my case the £333 I have already received) which equates to the refunds I have already received as part of the £400 Government refund scheme.

As you can see I have received £333 paid directly to my bank account re the £400 Government refund.  However, EDF have incorrectly included this as a debit, i.e. a charge which is incorrect.  The £333 should be neither a debit nor a credit you could say a memo entry.

My opening credit balance was £580.29 and in the last six months I used gas and electricity which cost £1,327.08 and I paid £955.00.  Therefore my current balance should be a credit balance of £208.21.

Yes I received £333 (part of the Government's £400 refund scheme) however EDF have effectively included this as a debit entry, i.e. a charge which is incorrect so my closing balance rather than being a credit of £208.21 is in debit of £124.79.  Effectively EDF are clawing back the £333 they have refunded me [Government scheme] by putting an additional charge on my account which is the £333 which they shouldn't have done.

I'm no expert but I've seen enough of these threads to know you need to look at all the rest of the bill, see the cost of the energy you've used then see how much they've actually charged you.  The difference should be the £333.

EDF seem to be notorious by now for showing this all extremely confusingly.

No they haven't.  If you check further down the bill your actual consumption will not add up to £1327.08, it will be £1660.08 although you will have to do the sums yourself.  This question appears here many times a week.

This is been discussed almost daily, see above link from earlier today.

Please have a read through the thread and you will find that the £333 has reduced the amount charged for your energy use and also been returned to your bank account.

Its plain daft to expect anyone to understand these EDF bills.  Page one on bill should give the reader an immediate understanding. It doesnt. The rest of the bill includes word "subtotal"  who would know that term means. I'd imagine customer services at EDF getting lots of calls about it  and will work on it.
