Court Date - Late Witness Statement

Hi all,
I have no earlier posts on this case as I've been happily following the guides available since receiving the LBC. I filed my defence and they decided to proceed with the claim, I filled out the Directions Questionnaire and sent that in and received my Notice of Allocation. It's at this point that everything got on top of me a bit and it was forgotten about to the point were I've missed the 14 day deadline.
Fully appreciative that this is my fault but just looking to find out what precisely this means, what I can expect on the day in terms of I haven't filed the evidence/witness statement that supports my case and if my best hope is to simply come out of this without an impact on my credit file etc and how to achieve that.
Thanks in advance.

Great, so you do your WS tonight and email it to the local court and the PPC's solicitor in the morning. Better late than never.
Get a WS bundle done now!
Simply copy & adapt the recent good examples by @aphex007 and @SJRRJS
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY ASKING ME IF YOU ARE "STUFFED" AND "ISN'T IT TOO LATE... "
Clearly you are not the first here to email a WS bundle a bit late and you won't be the last.
Seen it all the time and people still win.
But you won't win without one.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just to update this, I got a call yesterday morning from the solicitors of the parking company saying that their client wanted to discontinue on a no prejudice basis, with each side covering their own costs, if I accepted by 3.30pm so that it could be filed with the court.
I responded by explaining that I wasn't happy with the fact I'd incurred costs and spent time defending myself for the last two years and that I wanted to have my time and the £11 I'd spent on two 24 hour bus passes reimbursed. I asked them to take that to their client and we will talk again at 3.30pm. At 3.30pm they offered to pay me the £11 but not for my time spent to discontinue which I accepted as, from what I have read throughout the forum, recovery of costs is at the judge's discretion and not exactly guaranteed.
They then sent the email to me and the court containing the N279 and stating that payment of the agreed costs will be made yesterday, which it wasn't. I'm sure it will arrive at some point soon but if it doesn't I look forward to spending two years threatening them with legal action to recover it.
Thanks everyone for the help3 -
You got lucky there2
